What is X6?

X6 Spectral Astrolabium is an open research workshop maintained by Thomas Gfeller. It brings together small browser labs, reproducible mathematical examples and research plans. The shared question is: what can we reliably learn from measured signals and relationships between events?

Think of a toolbox accompanied by a lab notebook. A tool calculates something; the notebook explains its inputs, results and limits. A successful example does not make every tool suitable for every purpose.

What can you use today?

  • Browser applications for signals and finite causal orders.
  • Computational references with source code, test cases and documented counterexamples.
  • A local workflow for running, verifying and exporting experiments.
  • Research plans for further mathematics, industrial applications and laboratory work.

X6 is a public research preview. It does not establish a general spacetime theory, a qualified quantum chip or superior industrial denoising. This describes the available evidence, rather than deciding which questions might eventually be solved.
